This past week has been one big blur, and a whirling, twirl of a time.
We flew to Vancouver to see family and friends.
Part of me wishes the time wouldn't have gone so quickly, and part of me is glad to be back home, safe and sound in our quiet, but happily messy house.
Saw lots of Wintry scenes like this one!
And this gorgeous, fiery sunset! We were glad the rain let up long enough to get up to the top of Burnaby Mountain, for some fun photography shots.
Driving around downtown Vancouver is always a treat. The pretty windows, tall skyscraper skyline, trees and water are all symbolic of that sweet place where I met the love of my life.
Such a beautiful place..........everywhere you look, there is some kind of natural beauty to behold.
Like this gorgeous topiary on top of Burnaby Mountain. (Also known as Burnaby Eco-sculptures)
looking down on the Burrard Inlet.
Skipping through the puddles to the famous totem poles in Stanley Park. It makes me smile to think that my granny used to play in this park, as a child. Coming back to this place time and again brings back a flood of loving memories of the days when my husband and I were dating. Vancouver is a very special place to me. I love this place, rain or shine!
So there you have it, a mini travelogue of our time in the rainy city!
