Who says there is no such thing as fruit in the middle of the winter?! Oranges, tangerines, mandarins, pomegranates, persimmons, are some of our favorite. (to mention a few) ~ I just love the bright and cheery colors of these fruits, in the dead of winter.
The are just like jewels! So bright and cheery, aren't they!
Luscious colors~
Saving this one for our Christmas salad........the pomegranate seeds are like little red rubies!
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season!
Now go stock up on some vitamin A filled fruits and vegetables!

Hello,
I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
I like to visit your blog. It´s so beautiful.
Thanks
Kirsten
Lovely pictures...I can remember my father introducing me to pomegranates when I was little and picking them out with a pin.
Happy Holidays
Beautiful photos. I too remember my first pomegranate -- a teacher in 4th grade shared one with our class. I was amazed at such an exotic strange fruit. I still am, I love them!
