Okay, I admit it.......i completely fell in love with Anna Maria's patchwork bag! I followed her "Taxi Tote" pattern, and it was a breeze to make! I highly recommend you making one for yourself! Thanks so much, Anna Maria for making up this delightful pattern! I just love your new book!
This bag was definitely a wonderful way to use up my scraps! Scraps that were too good to toss!
I used the hexagon shaped pattern from the Anna Maria's: Seams to Me book.
The pattern is very straight forward, and you simply cut two purse pieces from the outer fabric, the lining, and the interfacing! It's a cinch! This bag looks equally gorgeous made up with a single piece of fabric, as well. I intend to make my next Taxi Tote with a single print.
Go give 'er a try, ladies! ~

Wow, you got me even more inspired now. I am cutting out the pattern pieces tonight to get my tote ready. Great job with your tote!
It's gorgeous!
I've gotta check out her book!
Looks fab. I must make one, when I get round to it!
Hi,
Your bag looks great, I've been inspired to try my own. I'v cut loads of hexagons and joined them to make vertical rows but now I cannot see how to join each row together? Please help!
Thanks

Hen,
If you see Anna Maria Horner's blog, she has the instructions for sewing together the hexagons! See her Winter Purse tutorial!
