Happy colors

Freshly picked, heavenly scented Meyer Lemons.
So many lemony things pop into my mind, when I look at these beauties sitting all clumped together on my table.
What is your favorite lemon recipe?
I've been meaning to show you my Amy Butler bag. I finished it sometime last week. It's all ready for springtime outings!!!
I must say it was fun to make, but definitely one of her more detailed bag patterns.
*update*
I have to add a comment in regards to the Amy Butler Sophia bag. I hope I didn't sound too negative about the details and length of time it took to create this gorgeous bag! We all have to understand, that it has a zipper! This is THE reason I was attracted to the Sophia bag in the first place. Mommies need zippers on their bags! This is not a tote bag! It is much more secure, and very durable.
I will be making this bag again! Thanks Amy!!!!!

pretty flower pincushion
What I've been up to this morning.........when does a mommy have the rare spare moment? A sunny morning when you have just the odd moment to spare? I came into my studio this morning and grabbed Anna's article about her Wild Flowers. If you haven't picked up a copy yet, better grab one while they are available.
How fun! Thanks Anna Maria!
I really needed that hour to relax and unwind and end up with one of these beauties!
Article and pattern found here:

Ginger Blossom Bling
Made this adorable colored pencil holder, over the weekend. It turned out pretty cute, but I must say this, Ginger Blossom makes anything cute! I'm sure you would agree!!!
Adding a little colorful bling to someone's day.
All rolled up and ready to go.
What fun~ Be on the lookout for more of these on my etsy shop, THIS WEEK! They make great gifts.
More Ginger Blossom prettiness~
I made another skirt, but the girlie wouldn't sit still long enough for a photo. We'll try for a real photo or two sometime in the near future. I love this fabric!

Mellow Yellow
I struck gold the other night, and this is no April Fools! I am so in love with this mustardy goodness.
Been dabbling with my paints lately.
This one is acrylics.....
I just got some new watercolors that I can't wait to bust out of the box. I know just what I want to see on my fresh piece of watercolor paper...a big mass of yellow, mustard! Yes, I am so in love with this color. I find that I am very affected by my surroundings, and this time of year it is all good! How can you go wrong with color popping up all around you?!Has anyone made Amy's new bag? I will have to say this this is one of her most time consuming, fiddly bags! Don't get me wrong, I am loving it, but man is it ever taking me time! I am working on it between the episodes of my life. Hahahaa....you know, kids, meals, sewing, kids, meals, out for errands, sewing........i'm sure you have a similar rhythm.
Okeeee, back to the bag.....will do a show and tell when I'm done! So far so good.
Anyone have any good April Fool's jokes today?
