I got so inspired by the cute birdies over at Purlbee ......... I had to have a have a few, too~
I actually made them up at Christmas time, but didn't have enough to fill a little tree.
A light bulb went on and I said: Aha! I can cut some wintry branches and perch them here. Just in time for Valentines Day, and the glorious prelude to Springtime we've been experiencing.
Aren't they adorable!
Thank you Molly, for making up this gorgeous pattern for us to enjoy!
For those of you who are new to the Purlbee, I highly recommend you checking out their delightful blog and online shop! Fun, fun, fun!

Your Purlbee birds turned out gorgeous! I love how they look hanging in that tree. I love the combinations you put together for the "wings." Nice to have some color this time of year!

Hello
I just discovered your blog after you visited with me in the Attic and I love your work and style very much.
If you like Purl, then I imagine you'd also like spool sewing, have you heard of them? they have a free pattern for similar birds on their blog, which is lovely (they made a bird mobile)

Hi Laurie, I am a lurker...for a while, I'll admit! :-)I'm Ryan B's (from Folsom) wife. My sister is Andrea, a friend of Dana H. I think my sis and you may have been pen pals way back in the day. Anyway, your sewing is such an inspiration to me! Our blog is www.all-about-our-days.blogspot.com. I have linked to your blog under my "sewing" category in hopes that it might inspire someone else! Hope that's okay! I also have a blog over at www.byamybee.blogspot.com
oh, I love your birdies Laurie! They are so cute and you displayed them with your usual, ADORABLE, flair for creativity!
xo,
Kim
