I was feeling like making some more pillows last week, so I made a couple to take to dad and mom's and surprise them! Mom already has one fun pillow and I made the other two to compliment the red and white printed one in the middle. These two pillows were made totally and completely from scraps! It's amazing what you can create and dig up from the stacks of fabric in your stash. I don't know why I don't attempt to use up my scraps more often than not!
Can you see the quilt draped over the back of the sofa? I made that fun little quilt a few years ago. It was an inspiration from my friend Sandy Klop! So my friends, if you are looking for a rewarding, quick little project, go dig through your scraps and start piecing and sewing! Ready set, go!!! Surprise someone with a scrappy pillow and make their day! My momma was more than thrilled!

The pillows are so lovely--the colors and fabric prints look so wonderful in the different combinations.
I've posted a pillow tutorial on my very first blog entry today that you may like to try, too.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful creations.
Oh my goodness, you are super talented! The quilt on the back of the sofa is just beautiful.
