Have you ever gone somewhere you haven't been to for years? The moment I stepped out of the car and onto the grounds, the smells and scenery brought back so many vivid memories of my days in Art school. We had such a lovely summery walk one evening, last weekend. We love to go for walks around my old university campus. Fun to walk down memory lane. Kind of makes me feel nostalgic. How well I can remember toting around my heavy backpack full of paintbrushes, heavy weight text books (those Art History books probably weighed in around ten pounds), sack lunches on the grass under the trees, and views of the whole entire Bay from the top of Warren Hall. I could sit up there and stare at the world going by, and get lost in time. Wouldn't want to trade my life back in time, for anything. So glad for the days of school I had and glad that I can use my education right here at home, with my family!
Here's my girlie walking with her Granny...........looks like Fall is working it's way into the trees.

We love going on walks through our alma mater (Texas A&M). We went on one on our first date (we lived only about an hour and a half away), DH proposed to me on one and we've taken our daughter on several. So much nostalgia for what's old and what's been replaced with something new.
Tara,
My hubby and I went to the university on our first "date" for a walk, as well! How fun! It's fun walking down memory lane!!! Funny thing is, my alma mater used to be CSUH (Hayward) and now it's CSUEB. Cal State University East Bay. They changed the name just a year or so ago, so my old sweatshirt is now "vintage" and worth $$$. LOL
How groovy to remember all your college experiences. I can't believe how much fall color you already have in those trees.
I found one little leaf... you found an entire tree! How gorgeous and I hope there's plenty more of that autumn splendor to come!
