Setting up house

As you can see, I've managed to have a little fun, this past week!
Some new curtains.........

new curtains

.....and a new lamp inspired by Anna Maria Horner.

lamp
It glows so warmly when the light is on.

Next on the to do list: a few new pillows, and a quilted wall hanging!
Hope you are enjoying your summer!

It all looks great! I, too, loved the lamp in Anna Maria's booth pictures, and yours looks just as fantastic.

Too funny that you and I both ripped out that picture from the ME Home Companion magazine. I am still painting on those darn trees, but hopefully in another day or so I can begin to add the leaves and oranges. Hopefully it will turn out just as cool as in my head, haha.

Anna's fabric is so dangerous!!! It makes me want to redecorate my entire house.

Beautiful lamp and curtains. I can't wait to see what else you have planned.

LOVE the lamp shade! Anna Maria's fabrics are just fabulous. Hmm, I am thinking I might need to do some re-decorating soon. :)

nice work on the curtains and lamp shade!! I love that you're not afraid to use so much color/pattern in your house! I think about things alot, but often don't make the idea a reality! I just bought an old painting at VV today, and am going to cover it in fabric for a wall hanging :)

Wow! Great use of the AMH fabric. I'm still wondering what I will do with my "sketchbook" fabric of hers.
