I am lovin my purple thistles.....really, they're artichokes that are going to seed! They have the most gorgeous purple flower on them.
I am lovin my first fist full of summer tomatoes...........
and I'm lovin my own coral rose bush, bursting with cheer...
....I'm going to miss you, sweet roses......
and I'm going to miss my sweet rose hips,
I'm having a crush on this orange beauty!
.......and our worn looking, little garden flag..........
catching the last glimpses of evening sunlight.
But we will have more gardens,
more experiences,
and new memories to add to the old,
happy memories of our "first" home!
Good bye sweet house, good bye sweet gardens,
and I hope that some other happy family fills the
walls and rooms, once again.
