Summery bag goodness

WHeweee.......one down, more to go! I am feeling a bit lost, if you will, when it comes to finding time to create in the studio. Still packing box after box, after box. You'd think we would be pros after move number six, ALL WITHIN EIGHT YEARS TIME! I detest moving! But it will be so worth it on the other end.

Summer floral bag

Managed to finish up this little baby. I had started this fun little bag a few weeks ago before we found out we were to move, and now it finally got some handles.

Summertime floral bag

So you see, this is why I have not been posting as much as I would like. Give me a few weeks, and I'll be all settled in.

Kids under foot, a home to pack up, and it's summertime! Wish me luck~ I have all these great ideas for our new home......... new curtains to sew, not to mention a quilt to make for another wedding gift....the list goes on!

The peaches are ripening, and that means it's time to make jam~ Yummmmmm

More later,
Laurie~

UPDATE:
Bag is now available in my shop!

Good luck with the move. I think the only thing I learned from moving from place to place was to always have plenty of boxes on hand, just in case we weren't staying put.

I somehow missed where and why are you moving, but def wish you a good luck and at least a bigger backyard, just like you used to have!!!

Nothing like a move to help finish up a few projects. That bag is beautiful! Good luck with your move.

Love the bag.
Wish my peaches were ripening, but here in Christchurch New Zealand it is definately winter and there is not even blossom on the trees.
Good luck with the packing.

Oh no! I know what you mean about moving, we just moved too. I don't think this is where we will be staying for good (so another move will probably be in our future)! I love the new bag (sooo cute). Take care and lots of luck with the move (one of the hardest parts for me is packing up all my fabric) = )

An adorable bag -- and I wish you much luck on the moving front. I swear when we moved in here we never really unpacked. I've spent the past few years going back through our things and getting rid of tons of stuff we have NO use for. UGH. I swear the next time we move before ANYTHING goes in a box I'm going to think long and hard about whether or not I need to keep it. :0)

Moving is a pain, that's for sure. I hope everything settles down to a dull roar soon for you. Your bag is gorgeous; I love the colors and the fabric prints. Peach ice cream, that's what I'm making with the fresh peaches that are showing up here where I live. I adore peach ice cream.
