oh yum!! I keep tellin' jordo we need to get an icecream maker... how fun! and yummy too~! I don't know if you've seen the mini icecream makers that are balls and you roll 'em around at your camp site and they mix up the icecream with ice around it, anyhow... my SIL brought one camping a month or so ago and we rolled it and threw it and rolled it some more... and then when it was just about ready we opened it and tasted it.... and you guessed it, we had used salt instead of sugar, blegh!!

I've always been skeptical about those little ice cream makers. Now with those yummy pictures, I think I have to get one, it will be a perfect summer gift for my kitchen, and I know my kids will love it!

Monica,
Oh goodness, you will never want to buy icecream again....it is so easy (just mix the ingredients together with the fruit and make sure you have put the bowl in the freezer for a few hours before you mix it).....push the button and it goes thump, thump! Honestly, after 25 minutes it's done!! It tastes divine!!! It's so smooth and creamy.

We bought a icecream maker last summer and I haven't used it this summer yet, but now I'm getting it out tomorrow!!! My aunt gave me the best recipe for a creamy lemon icecream. It's good if you like lemon! Let me know if you want me to email it to you!

We bought this ice cream maker in pink last year for our daughter's 10th B-day. It's fantastic for quick ice cream. We've been enjoying making fresh strawberry versions. Soooo good!

Love your blog--great colours!!
