I have had this idea running around in my head for at least one year now.....lots of flannels and corduroys, and Anna Maria's gorgeous Innocent Crush Velveteen fabrics blend perfectly with the scraps I had on hand. One perfectly cozy lap quilt for the cooler days ahead.

Just for fun, this neat sculpted oak trunk standing alone in the setting sun. It looks like it has weathered many a storm.
I must say that when I started this quilt, a few weeks ago, it was quite warm! In the 90's. I could hardly imagine myself cozying up in this warm quilt, anytime soon. I finished it and put the binding on this past Friday, and by the next day, I was wrapping it around my shoulders outside, by the gorgeous old oak trees. (yes, it was cold and breezy that evening). Our weather has us flip flopping between rain sprinkles and warm sun. It's quite lovely weather we are having.
Funky, fun and eclectic! Grab your scraps and get patch working. There is no right or wrong way to pick your colors and fabrics! Get your cozy on!
