The pattern directions give measurements for a shorter strap than we made. Just for fun, we made our strap length twice the size of the direction measurements. This makes a great length for a cross body strap for these cute little purses. Either way is delightful. Next time we will try the shorter strap measurements. We also added little sewn in pockets for lip gloss and girlie treasures.

I love the bag you made but what really caught my eye is the bag behind, the horse/pony. Did you make this? Is it from a pattern or did you buy it. I'd really like to make one for my daughter who is horse crazy!

The horse bag was a gift. (it came already sewn) I don't know of a pattern.

Love the others too. I haven't made a bag on my own yet but I may give it a whirl when "the" fabric catches my eye. :)
