Ruffly blossoms & ruffly fabric

Happy, happy springtime weather! Looks like blossoms are popping up all over the place......my sweet friend BariJ has similar trees in her neighborhood....little puffy, popcorn balls. Thats what we call them. So pretty, but I must be honest and tell you that they do stink! Not the best smelling blossoms I've ever sniffed. We used to get the scent of honey, wafting all over the valley, in our last home.

springtime!

The sky really is that blue!!!!!

just like popcorn blossoms

Petals at my feet.........

blossoms at my feet

Ruffles on a pretty new bag..........I'm going to put some Chambray denim straps on this bag, to match the Chambray denim piece in the center of the bag.....it's gonna be so frilly and sweet!

ruffles.........

A little birdie for spring.......one more cute bag in the works..........

I splurged and treated myself to some new colorful pencils........these are the best! So smooth and buttery to draw with...the colors blend so nicely........

coloring bliss

Time to go enjoy the weekend!!!!!!!! I think a family bike ride is in the plans. Fresh air and sunshine~

No way -- did you possibly design your first bag there after the yellow Anthro one? I LOVE IT! I actually hemmed and hawwed for weeks about buying the Anthro bag (I do not have an Anthro where I live and had to order it sight unseen from the Internet), but I own it and love it. Your fabric one is FANTASTIC, and if it wasn't modeled after that one, I still mean it as the highest of compliments to compare it to Anthro since that is my all-time favorite store. Are you going to share your pattern or will I have to pay up some how to get one of my own? ;)

I'm so jealous of your spring and being able to walk in sandals already...we are still in boots, but due to the all crazy weather and almost no mid. seasons, I'm sure that we will move from boots directly to sandals.
That ruffled bag is TDF!!!!
I still havent find my perfect Poppy fabric, BTW, but we are going to Italy soon, so will look for it there as well:)

Please share what brand of sandals those are. I must have some of my own (for when it finally warms up here)! :)

Ladies,
the sandals are last years...."Bobbi Blu" brand.

Bobbi Blu Zach Silver Metallic Leather (OVERSTOCK.com)
I got them at Anthropologie last summer, but lucky for you, they are at Overstock.com ON SALE...if they have your size!) Go get 'em while they're there! GOOD LUCK!

We have several orange trees in our backyard, and they are covered with blossoms!! It smells so fragrant! But, we've got nothing on your blue sky!! Wow!!!

Beautiful, beautiful photos!

Nice to meet you, btw. Isn't it wonderful to meet such crafty people in the blogosphere?

Susie,
Jennifer Paganelli (sis boom) makes the beautiful pink fabric you are talking about! It is from her new "FLOWER POWER" line of fabric.
