On the way out the door to our parent teacher conference this afternoon, I decided it would be nice to bring the teacher a bouquet! Yes, a yummy, rosy, peppery sweet bouquet. A remnant of Summer. Today has been a wonderfully, warm, Indian Summery day. Basking in the afterglow of Summer.

We've just had a bunch of cut roses from our garden, too - but I won't lie: I'm a little sick of this California sunshine. It's been HOT around here...
