Spring has sprung!

Yummy organic oranges at the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market, on Saturday.

Driving along the highway this weekend, this is what we saw! Blankets of wildflowers all along the hillsides. Poppies, lupine, wild mustard, you name it! It must be Spring.

We got out of town this weekend and went to San Francisco! Had fun at the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market, and then hiked the stairs to Coit Tower. Saw all kinds of fun backyards and gardens, and even the wild parrots of San Francisco. They are a hoot!!! The parrots hang out near telegraph hill, and in the gardens of homes near Coit Tower. Be sure to take a camera next time you are in the area! So fun!!!

Starting the ascent to Coit Tower......so many stairs, for such little feet!
Daddy lends a helping hand.

A fun statue in someone's blooming yard.
Nice spot to stop and catch our breath.

What a fun blue and white house! Love it~

Another fun house! I just love old houses!!

Looking up, way up.
We're getting closer........almost to the tower
Still quite a few stairs to climb.

One of the fantastic views from the top! We made it! City on one side, the water on the other. Sorry I didn't get a photo of the water and boats. Next time!
Click on this link to see live video streaming of the bayside view.

Just a little section of the gorgeous murals inside of Coit Tower.

And, last but not least, we ended up over here for supper, with a fabulous ocean front view from our dinner table. What an invigorating day by the bay.

Hi, and thanks for visiting me at Dark Horse Farm Designs! Love your place, too! I'm so jealous of the flowers- we're just starting to see some crocuses. My husband is out in Santa Barbara working now, and he is from Fullerton. His brother Dennis Geaney is a musician in the Bay area. Would you like a complimentary cd? He's a really talented jazz/r&b guitar player.
I'll be back soon!
