Soups on!
This is what is slowly simmering on my stove top! Another rainy day.....hearty vegetable soup sounds so good! Recipe found here. This is absolutely the best lentil soup I have ever had! So creamy and hearty! I have not cooked with lentils very much, but this soup is top notch! You must make a pot for yourself!
Meanwhile, my sewing machines are whirring.......and I'm sewing, snipping and pressing some cute clothing for Springtime!

I am ALWAYS looking for new soup recipes to try! This one looks so good... I am feeling like we need multiple pots of soup in the coming weeks!
I just made one with leeks (first time I ever had leeks too) and we loved it soooo much! It is always fun to try new things!

Thanks! I've been wondering what to do with lentils today. I've got most of the ingredients, so I think I shall try it.
I bought regular lentils to try this recipe and found almost the exact same recipe on the package!! We are making our own variation tonight as I don't care for butternut squash. I also found if I puree the soup (minus the chorizo) the kids eat it better not seeing the veggies and green stuff. =)
You can also sprinkle grated cheese on top of the soup...my kids love to eat it with the melted cheese!
