The parties have gone on non stop, since before Christmas. The season starts out with my dear momma's birthday, pre Christmas........and then several other family members to follow, soon after Christmas!
Happy, happy birthday season!
Cup cakes practically coming out of our ears...........
Happy Birthday to my father and my sweet girlie!
Ahhh, now the cleanup.......the dishes are all done, there are still a few cupcakes to yet disappear (me thinks the garbage can is a good home) and my studio needs some desperate cleanup attention...not to mention the pile of laundry waiting here.

Hi Laurie! Love the Happy Birthday banner! Can you explain a little bit about how you made it? Thanks! Kerstin
Kerstin,
It was pretty easy! Took a little time, though.
I used a different font for each letter....printed the black letters, cut them out. Got a round can of food and traced around it on some white cardstock paper. Cut corresponding fabric circles and zig zag stitched them to the cardstock paper. Last but not least, you finally glue on the black letter with a gluestick. tO Attach the cicle letters to the ribbon, I used a hot glue gun. Easty peasy! GOOD LUCK!
PS...I used pinking shears to zig zag the fabric.
Hi Laurie,
I found your blog through "Rose Hip" and had a lot of fun looking through older posts and seeing some of your beautiful work. Your daughters sure are cute! I think we live in the same neck of the woods also ;)
Happy BDs to all!!!!Best wishes and lot of hugs,
Katarina

Cupcakes are so great to serve for birthdays! No cutting necessary! Happy Birthday to your daughter and father! I love your new header! It's so bright!
Okay, now that the craziness of the Holiday's is over and since we missed our lunch in October we should plan one now:)
