A Tisket, a tasket, a basket full of.................BEAUTIFUL FABRIC ~
...........my latest pile of treasures......i think i will get back into the bag/purse making mode. I've been having so much fun with my kiddos this week.......and to be honest I am kind of feeling sewed out, after the big push with the last two quilts and then two skirts after that. I have to stop and ask myself, do I ever really stop and take a break? I was in a fabric store last night, and the lady at the register said to me, "you must sew a lot." I had to be honest and my reply was: "yes, I do a lot of creating and I try to integrate my daughters into the mix." We know how to learn and have fun at the same time!!

Those are some gorgeous fabrics. They just make me want to run out to the fabric store to get some!
Katie, I had to order mine online, since there is nothing remotely cute in my neighborhood! You are lucky if you have a fun fabric shop in your neighborhood!! I used to live in Pleasanton and would make frequent trips to the various quilt shops in the East Bay! Thimble Creek being one of my all time favorites! They moved to Concord! (used to be close by Broadway Plaza) :)
What delicious fabrics -- hmmn...makes me think I need to get out to some of my favorite quilt shops soon --
oooh, I'm so jealous, you have some of that Japanese bird on a tree fabric! Did you find it on sale somewhere?? fun to check in again!
Leah,
I found it at Purlsoho.com (the Japanese fabrics) They are lovely!
